Shanti’s Mini Rant: Real Positivity ✨☕️

I think the best thing about having your own movement is people don’t know why. They don’t know why you created it, they don’t know why you’re doing it, they don’t even know why it’s growing. When I first created LoveYOUself💘🌺 people automatically got on board because everyone loves hearing about “loving yourself, accepting your flaws, etc.) BUT people don’t wanna hear about changing your ways, being positive not petty, not being messy, etc. because sadly they feel convicted🤷🏾‍♀️ People don’t understand that a positive movement isn’t something you do just so everyone can agree with it, a positive movement is created for lessons and change and us humans hate change because we get so comfortable. For example, A positive person isn’t filled with drama and messy actions, If you guys look to me for positivity it would only be right for me to tell y’all not to be messy, drama filled, and mean🤔right? A positive person stands out, we know this yet we can’t accept it. Why though? Positivity has nothing to do with being liked. I mean Jesus was nothing but positivity and everyone hated him..People still felt judged because he was teaching real positivity and others couldn’t accept that. Real positivity is more than being nice and quiet. Its being bold ,having a voice, having your own opinion, and not being afraid of what comes to tear  you down. Let’s be real I’m not really making a change if everyone likes me😂 Along the way people will dislike you, feel judged, and basically bash who you are and your movement. You still gotta keep going , because if it’s a message from God it isn’t gonna stop growing no matter what ayeee🤙🏾 Love you guys😘

  1. Great post! I agree that Positivity is not just being all happy go lucky and “unrealistic” as most people down talk it, instead of taking the time to really recognize what it is. It does require change and work, but it’s the power of our thinking in which we do have the capacity to change. Negative thinking isn’t just being realistic, it’s a type of learned thinking so widely taught and accepted that it desensitized how much we ourselves play into what we feel and live. We feel like crap, because we only think of the crap. We cannot change a situation, but we do have the ability to change our thoughts which in turns changes our entire perspective to that situation. People can bash, but it really is because they don’t know the real reason behind such Positivity.

  2. Very nice to meet you Ashanti, I love your outlook and attitude. It’s very true about change, we do get very comfortable in our own little universe, oblivious to the rest of the world, or even our own neighbors.
