Words Without Action👏🏾

” I love you so much Ashanti!” What are words without action? They mean nothing! It’s easy to tell someone you know that you love them because it’s a common thing to do but why is it not common to show that love? I took a quiz a long time ago about love languages. Basically love languages is the ways you show your love and receive love. Everyone is different of course but one thing that stuck out to me was one of my love languages was “words of affirmation” IT MADE SENSE! My whole life I always wanted to hear people tell me that they were proud of me, that they cared about me, and that they loved me. I didn’t realize just because you tell someone you love them doesn’t mean it’s true. The sound of someone telling you that they love you is so sweet, but the heartbreaking actions they show behind it kills you inside. I’m learning that I don’t want your love if you can’t show me your love. Get it? If you love me, show me with your actions not your cute little words. Like I said before what are words without action behind them? 1 John 3:18 saids “Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” We all need to realize that words fade away but your actions are the things that gets people’s attention the most. Think about it, if you tell someone you’re going to do something after a while that person forgets, but if you do what you actually said you were going to do people remember it. Love yourself enough to know that you are loved✨ that you are precious, that you are beautiful❤ know your worth. Also remember that LOVE IS AN ACTION NOT JUST A WORD! Are you gonna back it up?
