Self Care Is The Best Care

Have you ever seen such a beautiful flower; a flower that just brightens up the whole garden? It stands out. It gets the right amount of water, sunlight, and its surroundings are encouraging it to grow even more. It’s in healthy condition, much like we should be right? Now you’re probably thinking, “Ashanti how does this even relate to me, girl?” Think of yourself as that flower. You want to be the most beautiful and healthy one in the garden, yet you’re not doing the things to achieve that. You’re not taking care of yourself as you should. Now, I don’t mean physically, I mean mentally. Flowers need water, sunlight and good soil, right? Well look at the water as cleansing from negativity; you are washing away all of the negative thoughts, energy, etc. The sunlight represents faith and hope for a brighter day. Hold on to faith and keep going even when it seems impossible. Lastly, the good soil represents the environment/people around you. Surround yourself with positive, motivating people that encourage you to better yourself and strive for the best in life. You are a beautiful flower that deserves so much care. You deserve happiness, strength, and people to enjoy it with. Take care of yourself and encourage someone to do the same. Let’s add more beautiful flowers to this garden.
Love,

Shanti
P.S. Don’t forget to tell yourself “Love You Self!”

  1. Hello,
Pleasure to meet you and thank you for taking time to stop by my blog page and having a follow, I appreciate it. I enjoyed this post and I couldn’t agree more that self care is so important and should come first, can’t care for someone else if you don’t take care of yourself:) I look forward to reading more post from you in the future.
