New Experiences = New Thoughts

Honestly, I’m such a scary person. I’m literally afraid of everything: spiders, fair rides, and sadly, the dark. Probably one of my biggest fears is experiencing new things, or opening to change. I’ve always been very hesitant to do a lot of things in life because of other people’s experiences or what they say about it. I let their thoughts control mine. I closed my mind to the idea of trying new things. A week ago, I finally realized that this here is not natural; it’s learned, my friend. We’re so controlled and we don’t even know it, man! There’s so many things that we don’t try or do simply because our friends, families, and older generations look down upon it. For example, you might hear people say this all the time, “You’re getting on a plane? Oh no, I can’t do it! That’s for crazy folks. They can get hijacked!” I mean, it’s a pretty basic example, but you get what I’m saying right? Half of the people that say this haven’t even experienced a plane ride. Why? Because they are controlled! Controlled by who? SOCTIEY! Though, we don’t even know it. Once you finally open your mind and experience new things, you gain new thoughts about everything in this world. You begin to view things through your 3rd eye, not just your normal eyes. Open your mind, because you never know; that new experience could be the one that leads you to your destiny. This risk could lead you to your purpose!

Love,

Shanti

P.S. Don’t forget to tell yourself “Love You Self!”

  1. I commend and applaud your outlook, and your bravery. Now I only wish I could get to the point where you are.
